The process principle of electric heating stainless steel mixing tank mainly converts electrical energy into thermal energy, combined with the mixing system to achieve uniform mixing of materials and precise temperature control. The core principle is as follows:
1、 Heating principle
1. Conversion of electrical energy into thermal energy
The electric heating device (electric heating tube or electric heating rod) is horizontally inserted into the jacket of the tank, and after being powered on, it converts electrical energy into thermal energy and transfers it to the thermal medium (usually thermal oil or water) in the jacket.
2. Indirect heat transfer
After the heating medium absorbs heat, it forms a high-temperature oil bath or water bath, which evenly transfers the heat energy to the material inside the stainless steel tank through the inner wall of the jacket, avoiding local overheating caused by direct contact with heating.
3. Temperature range control
The thermal oil medium can heat the material up to 300-320 ℃ (requiring special design), and the material temperature is usually controlled within the range of ≤ 100 ℃ under conventional processes.
2、 Temperature control principle
1. Closed loop temperature control system
The temperature sensor monitors the temperature of the materials inside the tank in real time and feeds back the data to the temperature controller in the electrical control box; The system automatically adjusts the electric heating power to achieve constant temperature reaction or staged heating.
2. Group control energy-saving
Electric heating tubes can be grouped for start and stop, and heated in stages according to different process requirements, significantly reducing energy consumption.
3、 Mixing synergy effect
1. Uniformization of material mixing
The agitator (paddle type, anchor type, etc.) is driven by a motor reducer to forcibly circulate the material inside the tank, eliminate temperature gradients, and ensure reaction uniformity.
2. Enhance heat transfer efficiency
Stirring accelerates the diffusion of heat in the material while preventing the deposition or wall hanging of high viscosity materials, thereby improving heat exchange efficiency.
4、 Key points of structural design
1. Layered design of jacket
Double layered structure (inner tank body+jacket) for indirect heating; An additional insulation layer (such as pearl cotton) is added to the three-layer structure to reduce heat loss.
2. Material and sealing
The tank body is made of SUS304/316L stainless steel, with mirror polished inner walls (Ra ≤ 0.4 μ m) and mechanical seals to ensure hygiene, no dead corners, and leak prevention.
3. Cooling limit
When there is no built-in cooling system, it is necessary to rely on the jacket to pass cooling water or the coil inside the tank to achieve cooling, which is a typical shortcoming of electric heating tanks.
5、 Application advantages
1. Accurate temperature control: The PID temperature controller achieves an accuracy of ± 1-2 ℃.
2. Safe and energy-saving: no open flames, no pressure (atmospheric pressure design), grouped heating to reduce power consumption.
3. Flexible adaptation: Suitable for scenarios without steam heat sources, such as laboratories and small to medium-sized production.
In summary, this device achieves efficient and stable process processing through the indirect heat transfer path of electric heating medium material, closed-loop temperature control, and forced stirring, especially suitable for the processing of thermosensitive materials in industries such as food and chemical.
