Quickly understand the working principle of cold storage humidifiers
Date: 2024-10-18Read: 4
With the improvement of people's quality of life, higher requirements have been put forward for the storage of fruits, vegetables, etc. The development of cold storage preservation industry is to meet people's requirements for the freshness of fruits and vegetables. The metabolic rate of fruits and vegetables will decrease in a low-temperature environment, which will also slow down the aging rate and increase the freshness period of fruits and vegetables. However, this alone is not enough. When the humidity inside the cold storage is insufficient, the relatively dry air will absorb moisture from the stored fruits and vegetables, leading to dehydration and drying of the fruits and vegetables. To solve this problem, the cold storage preservation industry has started using humidifiers to maintain humidity inside the cold storage.
Cold storage humidifierThe main function is to maintain a relatively stable humidity in the cold storage, which greatly reduces the rate of fruit loss and prolongs the lifespan of the fruit. Experiments have shown that if the machine is not stopped all day, the humidity in the cold storage will become very low. This is because when the compressor is running, the moisture in the cold storage will adhere to the evaporator and condense into frost or ice. When the machine is stopped, the moisture will be blown out by the fan and re mixed into the air inside the cold storage, thereby increasing the humidity inside the cold storage. Simply put, when the machine is stopped, the humidity inside the cold storage is high, and when the machine is turned on, the humidity inside the cold storage gradually decreases. However, the storage of fruits requires a low-temperature environment, and in this case, the humidifier in the cold storage plays a significant role.
The working principle of a cold storage humidifier is as follows:
1. Water quality treatment: The humidifier in the cold storage will treat the incoming water to remove impurities and bacteria. This can be achieved through the use of filters or other water quality treatment methods.
2. Water pump delivery: the treated water is sent to a water pump, which pushes the water to the subsequent spray system through pressure.
3. Spray system: water is pumped to the nozzle. In the nozzle, water will break down into tiny water droplets through small holes or rotating atomization plates. These tiny water droplets will form a mist and be released into the air.
4. Atomizing fan: A fan is usually installed behind the spray system. The fan will produce airflow in the spray process, blowing the atomized water droplets out of the room, so that they can be fully dispersed in the air.
5. Water mist evaporation: Small water droplets released into the air gradually evaporate, thereby increasing the humidity in the air. During the evaporation process, a large amount of heat needs to be absorbed from the air, causing a slight decrease in the temperature of the surrounding air.
6. Automatic adjustment: Some cold storage humidifiers are equipped with humidity sensors that can sense the humidity level in the air. According to the feedback of the sensor, the humidifier can automatically adjust the spray amount of water to maintain the indoor humidity within the set range.
