The wall where the flexible waterproof conduit passes through the wall should be replaced with a concrete wall if it is not concrete, and the conduit must be solidified inside the wall at once; Flexible through wall waterproof conduit is widely used in construction, chemical, steel, tap water, sewage treatment and other units.

Rigid wall penetrating waterproof conduit is a steel pipe with an outer wing ring (a circular ring made of steel plate is fitted on the steel pipe), installed inside the wall (mostly concrete walls), used for general pipeline penetration through the wall, which is beneficial for wall waterproofing. Flexible wall penetrating waterproof conduit, in addition to the outer wing ring, also has a stopper ring and flange inner wire inside, which are sold in sets or can be processed by oneself. It is used for pipelines with shock absorption needs, such as pipes connected to water pumps that pass through the wall.

The sleeve is assembled from ceramic parts, mounting flanges, and conductors. The busbar wall bushing does not have conductive parts, and the porcelain bushing and flange are fixed with cement adhesive except for 35kV plateau type and some products that use mechanical clamping; Copper conductors are fixed with centering washers and nuts, while copper and aluminum conductors are fixed with centering washers and open pins. The opening size of the cover plates at both ends of the busbar wall bushing shall be determined according to the selected busbar specification and type. The surface of the attachment is coated with gray enamel paint.

In order to improve the initial corona discharge of the 20 and 35kV bushings, pressure equalization measures are adopted in the structure. The porcelain wall near the flange and the umbrella (edge) on both sides are appropriately enlarged and thickened. Before firing the porcelain, a layer of semiconductor glaze is uniformly applied to the inner cavity of the porcelain sleeve and the flange, as well as the first umbrella (edge) near the flange. After firing, the semiconductor glaze is firmly bonded to the porcelain wall, and the porcelain wall is short circuited through the contact piece, greatly improving the electric field distribution, preventing discharge in the inner cavity of the bushing, and increasing the sliding flashover discharge voltage.

The conductive part of the sleeve is made of aluminum conductor, which saves a lot of copper material and reduces costs. The conductive area connected to the busbar increases, overcoming the disadvantage of high temperature caused by the small contact area of copper conductors.

The installation of casing flanges can be done in two ways: forward and reverse. Except for 6 and 10kV copper conductor pipes, which are installed in the forward direction, all others are installed in the reverse direction.
