The three-dimensional scanning function of HP-C-V3D Apodius optical sensor can achieve complete surface texture mapping of composite material products and automatic acquisition of geometric features of all parts. The system can project images of recorded local fiber angles and actual surface textures onto a triangular mesh surface generated from scanned data, providing three-dimensional fiber direction measurement and comparing it with simulated or design data to determine geometric deviations and fiber orientation. It can also record and classify defect types such as folding, gaps, fluctuations, and wrinkles that were previously difficult to measure.

The scanner adopts ergonomic design, ensuring its flexible application throughout the entire ultra high speed data acquisition process, greatly accelerating and simplifying the confirmation process of high-precision carbon fiber components.
