YJ-2331A-2 Automatic Determination of Sulfur Dioxide Residue in Wheat StarchThe instrument complies with the General Rules 2331 for the determination of sulfur dioxide residues in the 2025 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and the GB 5009.34-2022 National Food Safety Standard for the determination of sulfur dioxide in food. We have upgraded the flow meter range to 0.2-2L/min, which meets the standard requirements of nitrogen flow rate of around 0.2L/min for traditional Chinese medicine testing and 1-2L/min for food testing! The standard configuration is four pairs, and six pairs can be optionally selected. This instrument is mainly suitable for various traditional Chinese medicine production enterprises, traditional Chinese medicine research institutes, and food production enterprises related to sulfur fumigation, for routine determination of sulfur dioxide residue. This product is made from the grains of the wheat cultivar Triticum aestivum L., a member of the Poaceae family. 【 Appearance 】 This product is a white or off white powder. This product is insoluble in water or ethanol. Take an appropriate amount of this product and inspect it according to the law (General Rule 2331, Method 1). The sulfur dioxide content should not exceed 0.005%.

1YJ-2331A-2 Automatic Determination of Sulfur Dioxide Residue in Wheat StarchMain principle:

The main principle is to process traditional Chinese medicinal materials by distillation according to the detection methods provided in the pharmacopoeia. After acid treatment, the sulfite series substances in the sample are converted into sulfur dioxide, which is then carried into an absorption bottle containing hydrogen peroxide with nitrogen gas flow. The hydrogen peroxide oxidizes it into sulfate ions, which are determined by acid-base titration to calculate the residual sulfur dioxide content in the medicinal materials and decoction pieces. On the basis of strictly following the requirements of the pharmacopoeia, this product integrates functions such as heating, distillation, water circulation, and nitrogen blowing, and can provide processing for 3-5 samples (blank samples, parallel samples) simultaneously, greatly improving the accuracy of detection data and reducing working time.

1. Choose a sealed infrared ceramic heating sleeve, which has good heat collection, high heating efficiency, and can prevent equipment damage caused by liquid leakage.
