Used for differential pressure, flow rate, and liquid level
The Meriam 1120 differential pressure device is a mature and reliable sensing element that can be used for all Meriam bellows gauges. Its usage range can be as low as 0-30 "W.C. or as high as 0-500 PSI. This component features a lightweight, compact differential pressure device and anti rupture and leak proof corrugated tube, ensuring its durability and reliability. This basic device can be used as a standalone component to activate indicators, recorders, transmitters, switches, and controllers.
1120 includes high and low pressure corrugated pipes connected to each side of the center plate. The corrugated tube is enclosed in the end shell, which is then bolted to the center plate. The interior of the corrugated tube and center plate is filled with clean, low freezing point, and non corrosive filling fluid. If a differential pressure is applied, the filling liquid moves between the corrugated pipes through a field adjustable attenuation valve in the center plate. When measuring pulsating differential pressure, no other external damping device is required. In addition, Meriam 1120 adopts a special design that completely separates the process fluid from the center plate.
When a differential pressure is applied on the high and low pressure connections, the high-pressure bellows come into contact, forcing the fluid to pass through the center plate and enter the expanded low-pressure bellows. Through temperature compensation linkage, the linear motion of the low-pressure corrugated tube generated is transformed into a 6 ° rotational motion of the output shaft. Through the two fluid shut-off valves on this linkage, over range protection is provided to achieve the pressure level of the casing. The output shaft is part of a low friction "O" ring sealed shaft and bearing assembly, which can withstand rotational motion in the external area of the bellows device and inside the instrument housing.

1220 series indicator switch The 1220 series differential pressure indicator switch can be used for switch control or alarm. They also indicate flow rate, liquid level, or other process variables. 1126P-2 portable indicator 1126P-2 is designed for portable applications. A typical application example is to periodically measure the pressure drop of the entire filter, balance the flow rate in heating and cooling systems, and check anti backflow devices. Meriam's 1126P-2 includes an 1126 D/P indicator with a 3-valve manifold and piping, 2 hoses, and a quick disconnect device. Each instrument system is assembled as a complete package, and all accessories are installed in a sturdy, lightweight housing. When used as a flow measurement device, the instrument is typically equipped with a 0-100% square root scale. By designing all flow elements for the same difference and multiplying the scale reading by the full flow design value of the basic element, the reading of the flow unit can be directly obtained.
