The traditional Chinese medicine ultrafine grinder can work independently with only one pressure gas source. This system operates under constant temperature (endothermic) conditions. The powder enters the cylindrical crusher chamber at subsonic speed (about 50m/s) along the tangential direction under the action of compressed air or nitrogen gas. After entering the cavity, the particles are accelerated by the injector surrounding the cavity and move along a spiral line, rapidly increasing to supersonic speed (350m/s). When low-speed particles moving along a spiral collide with high-speed particles, the effect of micro pulverization occurs.

Centrifugal force retains large particles at the periphery of the crushing chamber, while small particles are discharged from the center of the chamber along with the gas.

·The particle size distribution is mainly controlled by two parameters:

·Feeding speed: The more average the feeding speed, the better the micro grinding effect. Because there must be a certain space for particles to accelerate before collision.
