DESIGNER is a CAD product of Hexagon's production and manufacturing software, which can be used in conjunction with any CAM software in its production and manufacturing software series. It serves as a front-end design and model modification tool for CAM software, connecting design and manufacturing, and filling the gap between CAD and CAM.

DESIGNER is a non parametric direct modeling tool that is different from traditional parametric modeling. It allows users to establish models through simple mouse drag and drop operations. It is also possible to freely modify existing models without considering the structure or method of establishment of the model.
Users have complete freedom to modify or recreate CAD format files supported by DESIGNER.
