Principle:According to ASTM D 3574 and JIS, as well as GB/T1033 and GB/T 533 specifications, the shoe materials, foam, and EVA materials mentioned are all absorbent products. The principles of Archimedes and buoyancy method are used to quickly read measurement values using vacuum, boiling saturation, and immersion methods.

Three density measurement modes:
Mode 1: For non absorbent material products, the specific gravity and volume of the product can be directly read
Mode 2: For water absorbing foam and EVA material products, the bulk density, wet density, apparent porosity, water absorption rate, open pore volume, sealed pore volume, and total porosity can be directly read.
Mode 3: For water absorbing products, the water absorption rate of the absorbent material can be directly read.

Measurement steps for sponge density using saturated water method:
① Place the sample on the measuring table, measure the weight in the air, and press the M key to memorize.
② After saturating the sample, place it on the measuring table, measure the weight in the air, and press the M key to memorize.
③ After saturating the sample, place it in water, measure the weight in the water, press the M key to memorize, and directly display the density value.
Press 0 to switch between displaying wet density, apparent porosity, water absorption, open pore volume, closed pore volume, and total porosity.

Measurement steps for non absorbent materials:
① Place the sample on the measuring table, measure the weight in the air, and press the M key to memorize.
② Immerse the sample completely in water, measure the weight in water, press the M key to memorize, and directly display the density value.
