Dimethylformamide is not only a widely used chemical raw material, but also an excellent solvent with a wide range of applications.

Mainly used as a solvent for extracting acetylene and manufacturing polyacrylonitrile fibers, it is also used in industries such as organic synthesis, dyes, pharmaceuticals, petroleum extraction, and resins. In the above job positions, poisoning may occur due to exposure to DMF vapor. The causes of acute poisoning are mostly due to production failures, equipment leaks, or failure to take effective protective measures during equipment maintenance, resulting in extensive exposure to toxic substances. Poisoning is often caused by both inhalation and skin absorption, with skin absorption being the main mode.
