Performance Overview:
The drug melting point meter uses capillary tubes as sample tubes and liquid temperature transfer methods specified in the pharmacopoeia. It is controlled by a microcomputer program for temperature rise, reliable operation, high temperature control accuracy, accurate measurement, good reproducibility, and easy operation. The design of this instrument complies with the provisions and requirements of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China on instrument tools and measurement methods for melting point determination, as well as the requirements of pharmacopoeias in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and other countries for melting point determination. It can be widely used in the production and testing of industries such as medicine, chemical reagents, fragrances, dyes, etc., to measure the melting point of organic crystalline substances.

Before leaving the factory, the melting point tester shall strictly follow the calibration regulations specified in the "Capillary Melting Point Tester" approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision to conduct comprehensive calibration of the instrument.

Structure and characteristics of melting point measuring instrument:
Advanced microprocessor control technology and advanced hardware design are adopted to ensure the long-term stability and reliability of the instrument.
▲ The temperature measurement adopts imported original thin film platinum resistance element sensors, which have high temperature measurement accuracy, good linearity, strong reliability, and long service life.
The automatic magnetic stirring system controls the high-speed rotation of the stirring element to ensure uniform temperature at all points of the temperature transfer liquid. (The maximum operating temperature for the agitator is 350 º C)
The heating of the temperature transfer liquid is monitored in real-time by the microcomputer inside the instrument. The temperature can be quickly raised to the preset value according to requirements, and then the melting point can be measured at a constant rate according to requirements. When the sample melts, the initial melting and final melting keys can be used to record the two melting point values separately. The entire system has achieved fully closed-loop automatic control.
▲ Adopting a large screen high-definition LCD display, users can enjoy intelligent operations according to screen prompts, and each operation process is provided with Chinese character prompts and quantitative indicators.
The instrument has three working states:
① Standby mode - preset temperature, select heating rate, observe the number of measurements of similar samples after startup, and obtain the maximum, minimum, and average values of initial melting and final melting after data processing by the internal microcomputer of the instrument.
② Ready state - Start the mixing and heating system to quickly raise the temperature of the transfer liquid to the preset value. The display screen dynamically displays the entire temperature change process in real time. After reaching the preset temperature and keeping it constant, the buzzer will sound an alarm.
③ Test status - Place the sample to start the test. The system heats up according to the preset heating rate. When the sample melts, the initial melting point and final melting point values can be recorded using the initial melting and final melting keys, respectively. The initial and final melting keys have the function of repeated recording and covering the previous operation, which is convenient for users to use.
