Biomass boiler is a type of boiler; The boilers that use biomass energy as fuel are called biomass boilers, which are divided into biomass steam boilers, biomass hot water boilers, biomass hot air stoves, biomass thermal oil stoves, etc. At present, biomass boilers can be roughly divided into two categories based on their uses: one is biomass thermal boilers, and the other is biomass electric boilers. In fact, the principles of the two are basically the same, both of which obtain energy by burning biomass fuels. The first method directly obtains thermal energy, while the second method converts thermal energy into electrical energy. Among these two types of boilers, the first one is currently the most widely used and technologically mature.

Types of biomass boilers: Currently, biomass boilers are roughly divided into two categories based on their uses: biomass thermal boilers and biomass electric boilers. In fact, the principles of the two are basically the same, both of which obtain energy by burning biomass fuels. The first method directly obtains thermal energy, while the second method converts thermal energy into electrical energy. Among these two types of boilers, the first one is currently the most widely used and technologically mature. If further subdivided, the first type of boiler - biomass thermal boilers, can also be divided into three categories: the first category: small biomass thermal boilers. This type of boiler uses solidified or gasified biomass fuel to provide thermal energy in the form of hot water. Its advantages are small size, simple structure, and low price; The disadvantage is that it has high energy loss, high fuel consumption, low thermal energy supply, and cannot meet the needs of users with high thermal energy demand. The target of this type of boiler is to provide heating and hot water supply for single rural households. Category 2: Medium sized biomass thermal boilers. This type of boiler mainly uses solidified biomass fuel to provide hot water or steam. Its advantages are relatively mature technology, low energy loss, and strong thermal energy supply capacity; The disadvantage is that some boiler fuels have coking and the supporting design is unreasonable. At present, the "Spiral Winged Burner Technology" of Shandong Hill Biomass Energy Company has effectively solved the problems of insufficient combustion and coking in medium-sized biomass boilers. The third category: large biomass thermal boilers. At present, there are no actual products of this type of boiler, mainly due to the imperfect existing technology and the lack of sound national policies for biomass to replace coal, so it only stays at the conceptual level. It emphasizes a centralized management and control of thermal energy engineering, where the boiler is only one device to ensure the normal operation of the entire biomass thermal energy engineering. Therefore, it has high requirements for fuel, combustion technology, supporting technology, and related policies. Characteristics of biomass boiler: 1. Energy saving and environmental protection: adopting the latest gasification combustion technology, equipped with advanced gasification rotary combustion chamber, built-in swirl secondary air distribution, and more complete fuel combustion. And efficient heat transfer elements - threaded smoke pipes - were used, coupled with reasonable flue gas flow rates, to further improve the thermal efficiency of the boiler. The thermal efficiency can reach over 85%. The boiler adopts green and renewable biomass wood pellet fuel promoted by the country, with zero CO2 emissions, smoke emission concentration less than 50mg/m3, and smoke blackness lower than the "Linkman I level". All indicators can meet the national first-class standards. 2. Bottom operating costs: As the fuel used by the boiler itself is wood biomass pellets, it is a new environmentally friendly fuel supported and promoted by the state, and is a renewable resource. It has the characteristics of high calorific value, low cost, and wide source. Its operating cost is only a quarter of that of electric boilers and less than half of that of oil and gas boilers. 3. High degree of automation: The digital integrated control system can automatically control the combustion conditions according to user settings, with simple and convenient operation, automatic ignition, automatic feeding, automatic ash cleaning, and is equally convenient to operate as a fuel gas boiler. 4. Safety: High standard and high-quality auxiliary equipment, accessories, and automatic control devices are used to ensure the installation and normal operation of the boiler. 5. Novelty appearance: The boiler design is beautiful, elegant, and reasonable. Overview of Biomass Boiler: Biomass steam boiler is a thermal equipment with high temperature and high pressure, and is one of the special equipment widely used in government agencies, public institutions, and various industries. It is a dangerous and special equipment. Once an accident occurs, involving public safety, it will cause huge losses to the lives and property of the country and the people. For the sake of public safety, people's lives, and property safety, according to the State Council's "Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment", the following precautions should be taken when using boilers: Precautions for high-pressure biomass boilers: 1. Biomass boilers should be accompanied by "design documents required by safety technical specifications, product quality certificates, safety and maintenance instructions, and supervision and inspection certificates (safety performance supervision and inspection certificates)" when leaving the factory. 2. Installation, maintenance, and renovation of biomass boilers. Units engaged in boiler installation, maintenance, and renovation shall obtain a special equipment installation and maintenance qualification certificate issued by the provincial quality and technical supervision bureau before engaging in boiler installation, maintenance, and renovation. The construction unit shall inform the special equipment safety supervision and management department of the municipality or jurisdiction in writing of the proposed installation, maintenance, and renovation before construction, and submit the commencement notice to the local county-level quality and technical supervision bureau for filing. After notification, construction can begin. 3. Acceptance of installation, maintenance, and renovation of biomass steam boilers. After the construction is completed, the construction unit shall apply to the Special Equipment Inspection Institute of the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau for the water pressure test and installation supervision inspection of the boiler. After passing the inspection, the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, Special Equipment Inspection Institute, and County Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau will participate in the overall acceptance. 4. Registration of biomass boilers. After the boiler acceptance, the user must fill out the "Boiler (Survey) Registration Form" in accordance with the "Regulations on Registration and Use Management of Special Equipment", register with the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, and apply for the "Special Equipment Safety Use Registration Certificate". 5. Operation of biomass boilers. Boiler operation must be carried out by trained and qualified personnel who have obtained the "Special Equipment Operator Certificate". During use, the operating procedures, eight regulations, and six records must be strictly followed. 6. Inspection of biomass boilers. The boiler shall be inspected regularly once a year, and boilers that have not undergone regular safety inspections shall not be used. The safety accessories of the boiler, such as the safety valve, should be inspected regularly once a year, and the pressure gauge should be inspected every six months. Safety accessories that have not undergone regular inspections are not allowed to be used. 7. It is strictly prohibited to install atmospheric boilers as pressure boilers for use. It is strictly prohibited to use boilers with incomplete water level gauges, safety valves, and pressure gauges as the three major safety accessories.
