Overview

The rotating droplet interfacial tension contact angle measuring instrument is a product developed in the new millennium based on the research results of domestic surface and colloid chemistry experts, integrating the advantages of similar products at home and abroad, and using computer control and multimedia technology. This instrument uses the method of rotating droplets to measure the surface tension, liquid/liquid interface tension, and liquid/solid contact angle of liquids.

Product Details

Rotating droplet interface tension/contact angle measuring instrument (dual-purpose) main application areas
1. Indoor research and on-site monitoring of tertiary oil recovery (chemical displacement agent)
2. Research on surfactant, detergent, emulsion and foam
3. Research on fuel oil, lubricants, paints, inks, and coatings
4. Research on paper products, photosensitive materials, pesticides, and other related fields

Main features of the dual-purpose rotating droplet interface tension/contact angle measuring instrument
1. The entire process is controlled by a PC computer and a front-end single board computer, using computer multimedia video technology to collect images of rotating droplets for analysis
2. The main control program is Windows interface, easy to operate, and the images are standard BMP files that can be stored and printed.
3. The tension measurement range is wide, ranging from 10-5mN/m to 100mN/m, spanning seven orders of magnitude, making it a full-scale tension measuring instrument.
4. High measurement accuracy, providing multiple levels of magnification, can enlarge the width of hair strands to over 100 pixels, greatly improving the measurement accuracy of ultra-low interfacial tension.
5. One machine dual-use, capable of simultaneously measuring interfacial tension and contact angle, for the study of wettability. For general contact measurements, this instrument can make the liquid droplets form a regular rotating body, thereby ensuring measurement accuracy and precision. In addition, it is also possible to measure the contact angle when the liquid/liquid interface tension reaches an ultra-low value, which is very convenient and difficult to achieve with other contact angle measuring instruments.
6. Equipped with an electrically controlled temperature heating system, capable of maintaining a constant experimental temperature.

Technical specifications and main features of the dual-purpose rotary droplet interface tension/contact angle measuring instrument:
1. Tension measurement range: surface and interfacial tension 1x10-5-10mN/m
2. Reading range: 0-6mm (providing 2mm and 6mm high-purity quartz sample tubes)
3. Reading measurement accuracy 0.001mm
4. Speed control range 1000-10000r/min accuracy: 0.1%
5. Temperature display range: 0-100 ℃ (built-in heating RT+5 ℃ to 80 ℃ or external bath temperature control)
6. Temperature display accuracy: ± 0.1 ℃
7. Real time setting of working temperature and speed for computers and standalone machines
8. Video detection system resolution: 768x576
9. Video capture rate: 30 frames per second
10. RS-232 serial port (test data); Video RCA interface (video capture)
11.220V/50 Hz or 110V/60Hz

JJ2000B2 Rotating Drop Interface Tension/Static Drop Contact Angle Measuring Instrument (Dual purpose) can be used to measure the contact angle of liquid to solid, i.e. the wettability of liquid to solid. It can also be used to measure the surface tension and liquid/liquid interface tension of liquids using the rotating drop method. This instrument consists of two independent parts that share a set of optical video systems.
