L2140-i Isotope and Gas Concentration Analyzer
Measure δ 18O, δ 17O, and δ D and determine 17O surplus

The Picarro L2140-i water isotope analyzer can simultaneously measure δ 18O, δ 17O, and δ D in solids, liquids, and gases. In addition, this analyzer measures 17O surplus with an accuracy better than 15 per meg (<0.015 ‰). By combining the measurement of 17o surplus with high-precision measurements of δ 18o='' and='' δ d, Earth scientists can enhance our understanding of current climate and the interaction between the hydrosphere and biosphere, and help us reconstruct past climate conditions. The minimum deviation in='' δ 17o (i.e. 17o surplus) is usually less than=''>0.015 ‰. Measure 17o surplus with>
●Convenient and synchronized measurement of δ 18O, δ 17O, δ D, and 17O surplus in solids and gases using a pipeline method
●The average accuracy of measuring 17O surplus in 1-hour water vapor is better than 15 permeg
●Repeated measurements show that the accuracy of 17O surplus in liquid is 15 permeg
The high-precision measurement of all three oxygen isotopes (16O, 18O, and 17O) was once limited to highly specialized laboratories equipped with expensive complex sample preparation systems, which used isotope ratio mass spectrometers (IRMS) for analysis. Simply press the button on the Picarro L2140-i analyzer to perform 15 permeg or higher precision analysis on 17O surplus. Introducing water samples into the analyzer can directly convert liquid water into water vapor through water vapor or by using gasification processes.
