LRS-5 is a micro area laser Raman spectrometer with independent intellectual property rights developed by Hong Kong East Company in participation in a major national science and technology project. The LRS-5 micro area laser Raman spectrometer uses a high-resolution confocal laser microscope with independent intellectual property rights as the system for collecting Raman scattering light, a monochromator for long focal length high-resolution flat field imaging output, and a self-developed computer software programming to construct a new high-resolution laser confocal microscopy detection device with independent intellectual property rights - the laser confocal Raman spectrometer. The product has high resolution, sensitivity, and stability, and is suitable for Raman spectroscopy measurement in scientific research institutions, universities, chemical laboratories, and physics laboratories.

Technological superiority
Due to the weak Raman scattering of water, Raman spectroscopy is an ideal tool for studying biological samples and chemical compounds in aqueous solutions. The Raman spectrum obtained from a single scan can simultaneously cover the wavenumber range of 50cm-1-7000cm-1, allowing for analysis of both organic and inorganic compounds.
Raman spectroscopy has clear and sharp peaks, making it more suitable for quantitative research, database searches, and qualitative studies using differential analysis. Because the diameter of the laser beam at its focal point is usually only 0.2mm-2mm, conventional Raman spectroscopy only requires a small amount of sample to obtain. This is a significant advantage of Raman spectroscopy over conventional infrared spectroscopy. Moreover, the Raman microscope objective can further focus the laser beam to 2 microns or even smaller, allowing for analysis of samples with smaller areas.
