In 2006, LGR (now under ABB Canada) launched a liquid water isotope analyzer based on OA-ICOS technology. After a long period of testing, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was very satisfied with its performance and specially wrote and produced an operation manual and video CD for the LGR liquid water isotope analyzer. In the preface of the operation manual, the IAEA generously praises and predicts that the LGR analyzer will bring a methodological revolution to stable isotope measurement.
In just a few years, there have been over 600 LGR liquid water isotope analyzers worldwide, operating stably in various industries and publishing a large number of literature. The data has been widely recognized in various fields. The changes predicted by the IAEA have quietly arrived.
In early 2010, LGR launched an enhanced liquid water isotope analyzer (912-0008), which is a laser liquid water stable isotope analyzer that combines high speed and high accuracy. This device is capable of measuring liquid water samples18O/16The isotopic ratios of O and D/H have accuracies of 0.1 ‰ and 0.3 ‰, respectively. 1080 injection measurements can be taken per day, which means that one measurement can be completed every 80 seconds, and 150 unknown samples can be measured per day.

Comparison analysis was conducted between LGR liquid water isotope analyzer and data from 5 different mass spectrometry laboratories. Fifty LWIA-24d analyzers were used to measure liquid water isotope standards (δ D: -79.00 ‰, δ 18O: -11.54 ‰), and the results verified the excellent performance of the analyzers (high accuracy, precision, and repeatability), R2>0.99999.
The linearity and range of LWIA-24d were extensively tested, with a measurement range of -454.3 ‰ to+1701 ‰ for δ D and -58.62 ‰ to+266.8 ‰ for δ 18O, R2>0.99999.
