The Meriam new M4 series handheld high-precision calibrator/data logger boasts an impressive range of new product features, functions, and comprehensive precision specifications, thus establishing such a reputation! The M400 includes a pressure sensor and a 1mA/V instrument. Differential pressure, standard size, combination, or absolute pressure types can be selected, with a measurement range from 10 "H2O to 3000 PSIG full scale. Do you need two more versatile measurement ranges? no problem!

This M402 can be configured with any two measuring instruments, combination, or absolute sensors. To learn about all possible options, please refer to the table below. The full-scale accuracy is ± 0.025%. Maintain this accuracy even when the temperature exceeds the range of -20 ° C to+50 ° C (-4 ° C to+122 ° F). All data records on the model are standardized.

All M4 series handheld instruments are capable of convenient electrical signal measurement and output. Measure ± 50V or ± 100mA using the provided test wire, output 24 DC voltage (VDC) and measure mA, absorb mA, or output DC voltage (VDC) or signal range (mA DC). The accuracy within the entire operating temperature range is ± (0.015% reading+0.002 units). The adaptive interface wheel can easily obtain input values and absorption values.

On all M4 models, data recording is standardized. Select Data Recording from the Settings main menu, and then use the keyboard to control the desired time interval and time parameters. For M400 single pressure sensor components, pressure, VDC, and signal range (mA DC) values are stored on the SD card at each time interval. The M402 dual pressure sensor component simultaneously records pressure values as well as DC voltage and DC current values.

The provided SD card is located under the battery compartment cover. You can use the provided USB cable and PC tools to transfer data to a personal computer, or insert an SD card into a compatible personal computer and copy the required files. The M4 handheld device and SD card can support up to 100 different data recording files.

All DC voltages and currents are measured using two 1/8 "banana shaped sockets located at the lower end of the handheld instrument. This reduces the time required for measurement and potential errors. These sockets can temporarily provide 24V DC power and measure circuit current simultaneously. Output DC voltage and current is also a standard function. Use the Sensor button to highlight the desired sensor, and then use the Settings button to select the desired function. The adaptive interface wheel is used to set precise values or configure steps or adjust output programs to test the receiving device.

Pressure measurement

M400: Single pressure sensor (specified by customer)

M402: Dual pressure sensors - any combination or individual sensor, mixed and matched as needed

Accuracy: ± 0.025% of full scale

Temperature performance: Accuracy (including all temperature effects) 20 °~+50 ℃ (-4 °~+122 ℉)

Resolution: with selectable accuracy or precision: the number of decimal places to the right of the decimal point required for the current selected engineering component to display accuracy or precision (usually an additional digit).

Engineering components: can be configured to display industrial standard engineering components ranging from 1 to 32.

Pressure limit

DN sensor:

When only applying pressure on P1 (HI), the range is doubled, and when applying pressure on both P1 (HI) and P2 (LO) sides simultaneously, the range is 150 PSI.

DI sensor:

When only applying pressure on P1 (HI), it is within a 3-fold range. When only applying pressure on P2 (LO) side, it is within a 3-fold range or 150 PSI (whichever is lower). When applying pressure on both P1 (HI) and P2 (LO) sides simultaneously, it is only 1000 PSI.
