Avtron AV32 Bullseye32TM is a modular two-piece incremental encoder (also known as a tachometer or rotary pulse generator). It provides two phase A and B quadrature pulse outputs with complementary signals. AV32 can be installed on almost any motor or mechanical surface through an automatic centering system, without the need for reserved holes.

AV32 offers a variety of mounting flanges: Bx type is suitable for flat, featureless surfaces, Fx type is suitable for installation on motor fan covers, and Px type is suitable for motor surfaces with existing guide holes. Due to its modular design, Bullseye32 does not require bearings or couplings. This, combined with the latest magnetic reluctance sensor (MR) technology, gives AV32 mechanical performance and higher reliability.

The output of Bullseye32 includes six signals:

Two phases (A, B), 90 ° apart and with complementary signals (A, B).

A marker pulse (Z) and its complementary (Z).

Its output resolution can be programmed at the factory or by OEM. The selection of rotor is determined solely based on the installation requirements of the shaft, without considering PPR (number of pulses per revolution).
