Using Thermo Scientific molded from semi transparent polypropylene copolymer ™ Nalgene ™ The three cap flange of PPCO centrifuge bottle is used for sterile liquid transfer or sampling applications in biopharmaceuticals. This type of semi transparent centrifuge bottle is very suitable for large capacity cell harvesting, centrifugal precipitation, and protein purification. It can withstand high pressure and has excellent mechanical strength characteristics.

Low to medium speed centrifugation suitable for biological and chemical samples
The polypropylene sealed bottle cap component can be used for 250mL (DS3131-0038) and 1000mL (DS3132-0063) specifications, enhancing leak prevention performance at higher speeds and larger infusion capacities
In order to achieve appropriate performance, the infusion volume of centrifuge bottles should be at least 80% of the total capacity, except for centrifuge bottles with item numbers 3120-9500, whose infusion volume cannot exceed 75% of the total capacity

Tip: When centrifuging 250mL bottles in the Thermo ScientificTM SorvalTM GSA adapter, the Nalgene centrifuge adapter (DS3125-0250) must be used.

Recycling information:
Reusable Nalgene polypropylene (PP) and polypropylene copolymer (PPCO) centrifuge tubes can withstand multiple rotations under typical laboratory conditions. However, like all durable products, they also inevitably face the fate of being discontinued and replaced. These centrifuge tubes will be recycled in many communities. When the product reaches the end of its service life, if the community provides recycling services, please wash the Nalgene PP and PPCO centrifuge tubes and let the community recycle them.
