Innovation points of plate filter press technology

The filter plate assembly consists of three parts: filter plate, rigid cushion block, and filter frame. Under the action of external force PI, the filter press presses each filter plate tightly. After the infusion pump stops working, remove the rigid cushion block, and a space is formed between the filter plate and the filter frame. This space will be closed under the action of external force P3. The lateral distance of the filter plate cavity will decrease, that is, the width C of the rigid pad will be reduced. As the filter residue in the filter plate chamber contains a certain moisture content, the reduction in the volume of the filter plate cavity will cause some of the moisture in the filter residue to be squeezed out, that is, the moisture content of the filter residue will decrease.

The basic working principle of the old filter press is as follows

The working principle is as follows: Under the action of external force PI, the compression plate compresses each filter plate, forming a cavity between each filter plate. The solid-liquid mixture is pumped into each chamber by the infusion pump. The liquid passes through the filter cloth and is discharged through the hidden holes of the filter plate, while the solid is blocked by the filter cloth and gradually accumulates in the cavity of the filter plate, forming filter residue. For the convenience of collecting and transporting filter residue, as well as to avoid further environmental pollution, it is generally required that the moisture content of the filter residue be 75% when it leaves the filter plate.

From this, it can be seen that the volume of the filter chamber formed between each filter plate cannot be changed.
