Check/calibrate
Due to the influence of age and environment on the interference filter used in the circular polarimeter, it may be necessary to periodically check the wavelength accuracy and readjust the wavelength if it exceeds the range. This can be done using sucrose solution and quartz control plate, as the optical properties of sucrose solution and quartz are almost the same. Sucrose solution is not stable and must be regularly updated. Checking the polarimeter with a quartz plate is a more reliable method.
The quartz control board is a long-term stable detection standard for polarimeters. The sample chamber of the Schmidt Hanxi polarimeter allows for vertical movement of the quartz control plate and free rotation around its own axis（±360°）. Only through rotation can it be checked whether the quartz control board is installed properly and without strain, and it is allowed to check and calibrate the polarimeter according to international standards such as ICUMSA and OIML.
Combined with the use of Schmidt Hanxi professional software AQUISYS 2008, it can meet all the requirements of 21 CFR 11.
