DESCRIPTION

The Pulse 6X and Pulse 8X amphibious handheld metal detectors from JW Fishers are two of the top performing metal detectors on the market today. These two commercial grade detectors are specially designed for underwater operations, but they also work well on land as well as in freshwater and saltwater. 6X and 8X can easily locate various targets, such as gold and silver, coins, handicrafts, weapons, armaments, ship anchors, pipelines, etc. These high-performance pulse induced metal detectors are capable of detecting both ferrous and non-ferrous metal targets, while also ignoring the influence of environmental minerals. They do not generate false signals from saltwater, coral, rocks with high iron content, or other underground minerals, while other types of detectors are often affected by these factors. Using detectors from JW Fishers, the detection distance is not affected by the material between the detection coil and the metal target. Whether detected through air, water, silt, sand, mud, or coral, the detection distance is always the same.
The Pulse 6X and 8X come standard with a complete set of accessories, including all necessary parts for land and water detection. The detector includes: a PVC underwater handle, an aluminum land-based handle, underwater headphones, AC and DC chargers, and a waist mounted tool kit. The 8X detector also includes a portable bag and land earphones. Both 6X and 8X have the same visual and auditory target indicators. When a metal target is detected, an audible alarm sounds and the instrument displays the strength of the signal. Instruments are very useful for determining target size and burial depth, while some other types of detectors do not display target information through LED indicators or only through sound. The alarm volume is loud enough for divers to hear directly without headphones.
A rechargeable battery can drive the detector for 12 hours on a single charge. The battery is easy to replace in the field. Unlike other detectors, the electronic components of the 6X and 8X detectors can be opened for inspection or battery replacement without considering warranty issues.
