The rail mounted power carrier communication module is an additional module for rail mounted energy meters to perform carrier communication. Due to the high integration and small size of rail mounted energy meters, adding a carrier communication module inside them will affect the structure and stability. Therefore, the carrier module is expanded externally to ensure the stability of the energy meter and carrier communication. The carrier module is in transparent transmission mode and does not perform any other data processing.

This module uses a 2P rail type standard housing, which is similar in appearance to a rail type energy meter. Usually, when in use, the module is placed side by side on the right side of the energy meter for easy installation and wiring.

For areas where users are dispersed and it is not convenient to arrange communication cables, carrier waves can be considered as a supplementary promotion method for collectors; In areas where electricity meters are concentrated, there is no need to promote carrier wave meters.

When applied, if there are 10 electricity meters in a distribution cabinet, the 485 interfaces of these 10 meters can be connected together to the carrier module to achieve carrier communication.
