Overview

Based on the principle of DPD (N, N-diethyl-phenylenediamine) method for detection, it complies with the national standard GB/5750.11-2006. Free chlorine reacts directly with DPD reagent, and in the presence of potassium iodide, compound chlorine can also react with DPD reagent, making the solution red. The color depth is proportional to the concentration of residual chlorine or total chlorine (the sum of free chlorine and compound chlorine) in the sample solution. Suitable for the determination of free residual chlorine (referred to as "residual chlorine") or total residual chlorine (referred to as "total chlorine") concentration in various water bodies using chlorine disinfection. The display screen directly displays the concentration of the sample to be tested in mg/L.
