Precautions for daily maintenance and measurement

As a precision measuring instrument, if the automatic image measuring instrument is maintained and serviced in a timely manner, it can extend the service life of the machine, ensure accuracy, and reduce the failure rate.

Usage environment

L Vibration isolation

If the image measuring instrument is subjected to additional surrounding vibrations, the measurement accuracy will decrease. When the frequency is less than 10Hz, the amplitude of the surrounding vibration should not exceed 2 μ m (peak to peak difference); When the frequency is between 10Hz and 50Hz, the acceleration should not exceed 0.4Gal. If the vibration exceeds these limits, anti vibration measures should be taken (such as installing vibration dampers).

L dust-free

The components of the image measuring instrument must be free of dust. Although the dust cover has a certain protective effect on the image measuring instrument, the measuring instrument should still be cleaned regularly.

L Lighting

The image measuring instrument cannot be placed in a strong light or direct sunlight environment, otherwise it will greatly affect the measurement accuracy of the measuring instrument.

Maintenance of components

Measurement platform

Please be particularly careful when loading and unloading workpieces on the glass platform. Sometimes, the measuring platform may adhere to water vapor and oil mist layers. Please use a cleaning agent to remove dirt.

L Body shell

When not working, please cover with a dust cover. Once the body shell is contaminated, please wipe it with a soft cloth. When the body shell is contaminated, although it does not directly affect the measurement accuracy, the contamination may still spread to other parts of the body that affect the measurement accuracy, such as linear slides or platforms.
