Figure 2 shows the continuous monitoring of hydrogen sulfide in the ambient air for more than 48 hours without zero gas reference and calibration (green line). The high sensitivity of the instrument ensures the detection of any situation exceeding the acute exposure reference level (A-REL, 30 ppb) and chronic exposure reference level (C-REL, 7.1 ppb, California Environmental Health Hazard Assessment Office, USA). The average value of the dataset is 0.31 ppb, with a standard deviation (1 sigma) of 0.12 ppb (5-minute moving average).
