DESCRIPTION

The SeaOtter ROV is an underwater camera system that can move in any direction. It is very suitable for applications such as pipeline inspection, underwater exploration (rivers, lakes, oceans, etc.), and investigation of hazardous areas. Using ROVs for underwater operations can greatly shorten underwater search time. With the Sea Otter ROV, you can locate, inspect, and capture underwater targets without diving.

The Sea Otter ROV has a complex 4-motor propulsion system, with 2 motors for forward and backward propulsion, and 2 motors for vertical and lateral propulsion. All motors have reversible propulsion directions and adjustable speeds. The maximum sailing speed can reach 2 miles per hour (3.22 kilometers per hour). The four instruments on the control panel can monitor the propulsion force and direction of each motor.
The sea otter ROV transmits its captured images in real-time to the 13 inch high-definition color display on board, which can be connected to a video recorder for real-time recording. Its color camera has a 6mm (50 degree) wide-angle lens. The camera's 70 degree pitch and shake angle makes its viewing angle reach 120 degrees. Underwater lighting is provided by four 100 watt tungsten halogen lamps, and the light intensity is remotely controlled by the onboard controller.

*A small robotic arm with opening/closing function
This small robotic arm only has the function of opening/closing, and it can grab small samples from the seabed, lay pipelines, and deploy underwater acoustic beacon lights. Its robotic arm and pliers are made of sturdy and corrosion-resistant PVC. The robotic arm can be horizontally installed on the ROV, and the clamp can be opened/closed horizontally; It can also be installed vertically on the ROV and vertically open/close the pliers. The opening/closing of the pliers is remotely controlled by the buttons of the ROV onboard control unit.
