Installation location

To install the 6890 series gas chromatograph, a workbench is required for placing the instrument, with a length of 120cm and a width of 71cm, capable of withstanding a weight of at least 60kg. The test bench must be level and stable. In addition, in order to facilitate the discharge of high heat air in the column temperature chamber, a space of at least 30cm should be left between the 6890 gas chromatograph and the wall, and no items should be stacked. There should be a 30-40cm passage between the workbench and the wall for easy installation, maintenance, or inspection of instruments.

The height of the 6890 series gas chromatograph is 49cm. No other objects, shelves, etc. can be placed or hung above the instrument. If there are obstacles, it will affect the heat dissipation at the top of the instrument and hinder its normal use.

If other devices (such as recorders, integrators, workstations, etc.) are also placed on the same workbench, the workbench surface and load should be appropriately increased as needed.
