Overview
The Shimadzu Inertsil CN-3 liquid chromatography column is a column with cyanopropyl groups bonded to silica gel, which can be used for reverse phase and normal phase separation modes. In reverse phase mode, due to the presence of carbon nitrogen triple bonds, it has different selectivity from ordinary C18 (Figure 1) and is widely used in drug analysis. In addition, in the normal phase mode, the high-density combination of cyanopropyl groups using * technology has a very high separation selectivity compared to commercially available cyanopropyl chromatography columns (Figure 2).
