Shimadzu liquid chromatography column Inertsil SIL-100AIntroduction:We used our company's synthetic method to produce HPLC silica gel with a micropore size of 100 Å. The metal content is extremely low, and the surface area and pore size are controlled. As shown in Figure 1, no deformation of the shape, deviation in particle size, or unevenness on the surface commonly seen in commercially available silicone gel were observed. Therefore, sharp peaks were obtained, and the reproducibility between chromatographic columns was high, achieving stable normal phase analysis.
Figure 2 shows the results of analyzing 9 compounds using Inertsil SIL-100A, exhibiting differences in selectivity compared to other normal chromatography columns in the Inertsil series. Due to the influence of silanol groups, the retention of acidic compounds becomes weaker and the retention of alkaline compounds becomes stronger in Inertsil SIL-100A.
