The Shimadzu Microhardness Tester HMV-2T is a Vickers hardness tester equipped with a test force automatic conversion mechanism and a high-definition LCD touch screen. After setting the testing conditions through the LCD touch screen, the selection of the test load, the conversion from the objective lens to the indenter, and the testing process are all automatically carried out. The measurement of the indentation size is automatically calculated by the measuring head composed of the objective lens and photoelectric sensor.

Can measure the conversion of Vickers, Brinell, Knoop hardness, and Rockwell hardness. Used for research and development of surface hardening layers, coatings, and plating layers, as well as hardness measurement of metal thin materials, fine wires, and metallographic structures.
