The interfacial tension tester places the tested liquid in a constant temperature sample container, and a capillary tube made of polytetrafluoroethylene is immersed into the liquid at a given depth. This capillary tube is connected to a gas interface and a sensitive pressure sensor. Place the tested liquid in a constant temperature sample container, and a capillary tube made of polytetrafluoroethylene will be immersed into the liquid at a given depth. This capillary tube is connected to a gas interface and a sensitive pressure sensor. During the testing process, gas or inert gas passes through the capillary tube, forming bubbles at the end of the capillary tube and measuring the pressure of these bubbles.

When the bubble pressure tensiometer continuously increases the rheological rate of gas, the frequency of bubble formation increases and the survival time of each bubble decreases accordingly. At the beginning of the experiment, the formation of one bubble takes two seconds, and at the end, ten bubbles can be formed per second. When the bubble radius at the end of the capillary is equal to the capillary radius, the bubble pressure reaches its maximum value. Once the bubble radius exceeds the capillary radius, the bubble pressure significantly decreases. The maximum pressure required to generate bubbles is directly proportional to the dynamic surface tension. The hydrostatic pressure P is directly proportional to the immersion depth of the capillary tube.
