The horizontal spiral centrifuge, abbreviated as the horizontal spiral centrifuge, is an efficient centrifugal separation equipment. Horizontal spiral centrifuge can generally be divided into horizontal spiral filtration centrifuge and horizontal spiral discharge settling centrifuge.

1、 Horizontal spiral discharge settling centrifuge: It is a type of centrifuge that rotates at a certain speed in the same direction as the screw at a certain differential speed. The material is continuously introduced into the conveying spiral cylinder through the feeding pipe, accelerated, and enters the conversion process. Under the action of the centrifugal force field, heavier solid substances deposit on the conversion wall to form a sediment layer. The spiral blade of the conveying material scrapes off the deposited solid phase and continuously pushes it towards the cone end of the conversion, and discharges it outside the machine through the slag discharge outlet. The relatively clear liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, which continuously overflows from the overflow port at the large end of the conversion and is discharged outside the machine through the discharge port. The relative motion between the spiral and the conversion is achieved by a differential. The differential housing is connected to the converter, the output shaft is connected to the screw, and the input shaft is connected to the auxiliary motor. The main motor drives the conversion rotation and also drives the rotation of the differential housing. Due to the connection between the input shaft and the auxiliary motor, the auxiliary motor generates braking torque, which drives the planetary gears to operate according to the designed transmission relationship, and transmits the torque to the spiral blades in a certain proportion, achieving continuous separation of the horizontal spiral discharge settling centrifuge.

2、 Horizontal spiral discharge filtration centrifuge: It is driven by the main motor through a pulley differential to rotate the converter and spiral at different high speeds. The suspension is continuously added along the feeding tube and dispersed onto the conversion wall through the feeding holes on the spiral small end wall. Due to the centrifugal force field, the liquid is thrown out through the filter and the holes on the conversion wall, and is discharged outside the machine through the filtrate outlet on the casing. The solid is trapped on the filter screen, forming a filter residue layer. Due to the difference in rotational speed between the conversion and the screw, the filter residue is continuously pushed from the small end to the large end by the screw conveyor. The filter residue pushed out of the large end of the conversion is discharged from the slag discharge port of the casing. In this way, the suspension is automatically and continuously separated into filtrate and filter residue.
