· OmniScan MX PA & UT

TomoView software is compatible with Microsoft Windows, XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7, and can run effectively on standard laptops as well as high-end desktop workstations. It can handle large capacity data files (with a maximum capacity of 2 GB).
Multiple technical management
TomoView has advanced performance that utilizes multiple technologies simultaneously, allowing for conventional UT, phased array (pulse echo, one transmitter one receiver or penetration), and TOFD acquisition. When using TomoView for ultrasound testing applications, users can create unique testing configurations that are most suitable for their own applications in their own way.
The TomoView Advanced Calculator is an essential and powerful component of the TomoView software suite. This calculator can utilize pre programmed wedge, probe, and material information in its database to conveniently and accurately configure angle sound beams and focusing points for 1D linear array, 1D circular array, and 2-D rectangular array probes.

The advanced calculator can be used to set fan-shaped, linear, and depth scanning focus rules for flat and circular materials, supports dynamic depth focus (DDF), and can also be used to generate OmniScan compatible focus rule files (. law).
In addition, users can use the final image display of the sound beam and angle sound beam as an important verification tool. The 'Sound Field Simulation Module' is an optional feature that provides simulated images of spatial scattering areas in 2-D or 3-D views.

When used in conjunction with Olympus' FOCUS LT, TomoView software will become even more powerful. The enhanced performance is as follows:

TomoView has strong flexibility in creating layouts as it allows for comprehensive configuration of view display and reading. Each set of views retains its own content configuration and is easily transferred to other views before being saved to the layout group. Users can access layout groups at any time through TomoView Manager.
In addition to providing various readings, all of these readings can also be easily exported to Microsoft Excel, processed through custom calculation methods, and then exported back to TomoView. Through this method, users can create custom readings and import them directly into the TomoView interface.
The TomoView Manager can be said to be the most useful TomoView component, as it allows users to quickly and conveniently access the most commonly used commands.
It can not only quickly add, delete, and modify groups, but also easily switch between different groups and gates. The interface it provides can also easily change the overall gain, A-scan, and gate parameters.
A layout that can be flexibly and comprehensively configured is a fundamental component of TomoView. These layouts allow users to see data presented in different forms, thus better meeting their application needs.
The standard configuration of TomoView includes multiple sets of very useful pre-defined sections. In addition, TomoView software allows users to create custom layouts, modify and save these layouts during the detection and analysis process, and import layouts for quick retrieval. Individual views can also be customized through context menus, further enhancing the flexibility of managing multiple layouts.

Phantom waves caused by high PRF
Interspaced scanning of sound beams can eliminate phantom waves
In some applications, to achieve the highest detection speed, it is necessary to enhance the focusing effect in the configuration. In this case, the TomoView trigger sequencer module can help users change the order in which the focusing rules are triggered. This can reduce the phantom waves caused by it.
The left image shows Dynamic Depth Focusing (DDF), and the right image shows Standard Focusing.
Dynamic depth focusing (DDF) technology dynamically changes the formation of the sound beam when receiving signals to achieve higher resolution, thereby improving the resolution of displayed defects while maintaining optimal detection speed.

The condition A scan function allows A scan to be recorded only when an alarm is triggered. In this way, A-scan will only appear in the areas where A-scan information is most needed, allowing users to detect larger areas in a single detection.

TomoView is not only a powerful design and data collection software, but also includes the most advanced analysis tools developed by Olympus NDT, allowing users to gain a deeper understanding of the collected data. Therefore, it can be said that TomoView is an ideal partner for users in the analysis and reporting process.
Whether for simple defect quantification and report production, or for more in-depth analysis, TomoView can enable users to complete these operations as desired. Not only that, its more flexible and comprehensive design concept makes this software extremely powerful in other aspects as well.
TomoView 2.10 software has added many new features and is currently the best tool for users to conduct more in-depth analysis.
The maximum data file storage capacity has increased to 2 GB, allowing users to merge data from multiple files together and more effectively analyze data from larger surfaces.

Performing volume fusion processing on multiple volume views in combination display can improve the display effect of data and enhance analysis efficiency.

TomoView 2.10 comes with advanced analysis algorithms that allow for more manipulation of the collected data.
The powerful noise analysis performance can quantify the signal-to-noise ratio and obtain more detailed information about the detection conditions.

Comprehensive matrix filter performance can display C-scan data more clearly in noisy environments.

TomoView's data file fusion function can merge multiple data files into a single file, and then analyze these files simultaneously, greatly improving analysis efficiency.
TomoView 2.10 can increase the storage capacity of each data file to 2 GB, allowing for the fusion of more data files in a single file compared to before.

The C-scan fusion function can fuse data points from different C-scans in a single C-scan. The maximum or minimum wave amplitudes detected on different C-scans or the locations of these wave amplitudes will be retained.

The TomoView volume fusion function can fuse different sound beams in a single group, which can clearly represent the entire inspected workpiece and facilitate the analysis of defect indications.
When spatial coverage occurs, the maximum wave amplitude is retained. Therefore, the fusion view displays all detected defect indications without considering the initial defect indication direction.
Please note that the displayed defect indication may vary depending on the resolution used in the fused view.

Matrix filter tools can be used to reduce noise in C-scan data by processing data points using surrounding points. Matrix filters are particularly useful when analyzing composite material workpieces with high noise levels, as they can display data more clearly when analyzing data files with high noise levels.
TomoView includes a Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) feature. Users can use SNR analysis tools to evaluate the noise level in the reference area of the C-scan view, and then calculate the defect indication surface area above the noise.
The SNR function appears in the analysis mode of Lite Aero version. The SNR function is used for zero degree detection and is typically suitable for detecting workpieces in the aerospace industry. This function can be used in the top view (C), wave amplitude, and position C-scan view.

The software C-scan editor can now edit custom geometric shape materials based on the raw collected data, so that users can customize the areas where defects are expected to be detected during the analysis process, greatly improving the flexibility of complex geometric shape material detection applications.
Binary tools can convert collected data into a "good/bad" view differentiated by color, allowing for simple analysis of data files for qualification or defect.
This tool is particularly useful in applications that require visual analysis of collected data during the detection process.
Creating reports in TomoView has now become simple and easy to implement. Use the area tool to add defect indications. Select the defect report template you want to use, and then click "Add" to easily add new readings and comments to the report. This step can be repeated for all relevant defect indications.
It is also easy to change the company logo and add specific inspection information, such as operator name, location, workpiece, etc. In this way, a complete HTML report containing all relevant detection settings can be created within seconds.

After the report is created, the defect report is automatically saved to one R01 file for future upload to TomoView.

The design purpose of TomoView software is to serve as a flexible and adaptable tool that meets the needs of users to complete various applications. In today's rapidly changing world of inspection requirements, in order to make TomoView suitable for various inspection applications, we have created NDT remote control library and NDT data access library for it. TomoView software is an ideal partner for users to complete detection applications.
The NDT remote control library and NDT data access library are both based on COM interfaces. This interface can be used in different software environments, such as: Microsoft Visual C++、Microsoft Visual Basic、LabVIEW、C#、MATLAB, Use relevant functions.
TomoView software combines the flexibility of NDT remote control library with the practicality of NDT data access library, making it an essential tool for users to create application settings.
TomoView software and these two libraries are ideal tools for creating flexible inspection systems for detecting train wheels and axles.

NDT Data Access Library is a software development package that allows users to read data files when completing custom detection applications. This data access library is particularly useful in applications that require the use of Olympus instruments with custom programs to display and process collected data.
The data file access library has a high-level ability to access data, which can usually avoid users dealing with the complex structure of data files. It is also easy to read data and parameters related to data interpretation, such as beam refraction angle, sound velocity, delay, offset, etc.

The NDT data access library can directly access the raw collected data from the source data file, which helps users regain the amplitude, position, and thickness values obtained during the collection process.
By using NDT data to access the library, users can also retrieve the most important detection parameters, which can be processed and displayed according to specific requirements.

The NDT remote control library is a software development package that allows users to develop special user interfaces for automatic detection using Olympus NDT instruments (phased array or conventional UT). The control library installed on the external computer can directly control the TomoView software, providing various detection and analysis possibilities in detection and analysis mode.

Users can use the NDT remote control library to create custom programs for sending remote commands to TomoView. These instructions not only optimize the processing, but also enable quick modification of settings.
Remote commands can be issued from a local or remote computer. RCLIB provides users with an open access method for the most commonly used functions in the collection and analysis mode.

The TomoView window can be directly embedded into any custom framework, allowing users to create a custom interface in the area where the TomoView is to be embedded. By clicking on the TomoView window, users can directly access this interface.
TomoView display has super flexibility, allowing users to embed only the window containing the data to be displayed into the program, making the embedding operation seamless.

The NDT remote control library can be used to directly access real-time collected data, allowing for customized processing or storage operations on raw data.
This feature can also be used to create custom alarm triggering conditions that can be easily connected to system components.
