The LF vortex concave air flotation equipment mainly includes an air flotation box, vortex concave aerator, chain scraper system, floating slag collection and discharge system, overflow water system, electric control system, dispensing tank, storage tank, glass rotor flowmeter, reflux pipeline, circular operation platform, and dosing pump.
The equipment casing can be a solid steel plate structure, or our company can provide the casing drawings. After the user builds their own concrete structure, our technical personnel will guide the installation on site. It is recommended to use reinforced concrete structure for the box when the single machine processing water volume exceeds 320 cubic meters per hour.

IIWorking principle of LF vortex concave air flotation equipment
The pollutants in sewage are divided into dissolved organic matter and insoluble substances (i.e. SS). Dissolved organic matter can be converted into insoluble substances under certain conditions. One of the methods of sewage treatment is to add coagulants and flocculants to convert most of the dissolved organic matter into insoluble substances, and then remove all or most of the insoluble substances (i.e. SS) to achieve the purpose of purifying sewage. The main method of removing SS is to use air flotation.
The LF vortex concave air flotation equipment is the process of air flotation generated by air. The vortex concave aerator directly injects "microbubbles" into the sewage without the need for pre aeration, and then evenly distributes the "microbubbles" in the sewage through precision cast diffuser impellers, so there will be no blockage. This equipment does not require auxiliary equipment such as pressure vessels, air compressors, and circulation pumps.
Untreated sewage first enters the aeration and inflation section, where it is fully mixed with "microbubbles". As the "microbubbles" rise, they carry suspended solids to the water surface. The scraper moves along the liquid surface, scraping suspended solids onto a tilted metal plate, and then pushing them into the sludge discharge pipeline. There is a horizontal screw propeller in the sludge discharge pipeline, which sends the collected sludge into the sludge collector. The propeller and scraper are driven by the same motor. The purified sewage will pass through the overflow tank under the inclined plate before discharge. The overflow tank is used to control the water level of the air flotation tank, ensuring that the liquid in the tank does not flow into the sludge discharge pipeline.
The open reflux pipeline extends from the aeration section along the bottom of the air flotation tank. At the same time as generating microbubbles, the vortex concave aerator will form a negative pressure zone at the bottom of the tank with a return pipe. This negative pressure will cause water to flow back from the bottom of the tank to the aeration zone, and then return to the air flotation section. A one-way valve is installed on the return pipe to prevent sewage entering the aeration tank directly from the return pipe without treatment. The entire process ensures that air flotation continues without any inflow.

IIIAdvantages of LF vortex concave air flotation equipment
1. Save investment
Using LF to treat urban and industrial wastewater does not require auxiliary equipment such as pressure vessels, air compressors, and circulation pumps. This equipment can remove oil, gel like substances, suspended solids, COD, and BOD from wastewater. Using it to treat wastewater from chemical pulp production can greatly reduce the scale of biochemical secondary treatment (if waste paper is used as raw material, the wastewater generated through processes such as de ink and bleaching does not require biochemical secondary treatment and can be discharged or reused to meet standards). It can even eliminate the need for biochemical treatment and directly discharge to meet standards, thereby greatly reducing the overall investment cost.
2. Low operating costs
The equipment adopts multiple aeration heads, and the number of aerators is determined according to the amount of treated water. Each aerator has a power of only 2.2KW; the scraper and sludge screw propeller are driven by the same motor, with a power range of 1.1KW-2.2KW. The power consumption of the entire LF vortex concave air flotation equipment is extremely small, only equivalent to 1/8-1/10 of traditional dissolved air flotation, and maintenance and manual operation are extremely rare. During normal operation, there is no need for manual supervision.
3. High efficiency
Unlike traditional oil collectors such as gravity settling tanks and separation tanks, LF automatically and seamlessly removes solid sludge from wastewater. The removal and storage of sludge are carried out in a concentrated manner, and the maximum concentration of the floating sludge collected by this equipment can reach about 5%, thus reducing the operating costs of sludge treatment.
4. Superior performance
The processing capacity of LF vortex concave air flotation equipment is 5-2000 cubic meters per hour. Design devices with different flow rates according to customer requirements. The amount of water entering LF does not need to be balanced, and even if the flow rate changes, the equipment can work normally. Under normal circumstances, the removal rate of oil and suspended solids (SS) exceeds 95%. Obviously, while removing oil and suspended solids, the load of COD and BOD is also greatly reduced, and the removal rate of COD can usually reach 75-85% or more.
5. Easy to operate
The LF vortex concave air flotation equipment has a simple structure, high degree of automation, and easy operation and maintenance.
6. Odor reduction
The LF vortex concave air flotation equipment is an aerobic process for wastewater treatment, and the sludge is removed in a "fresh" state, thus effectively solving the problem of odor generated by the oil collector (gravity settling tank and separation tank). On the other hand, it increases the possibility of solid reuse and reduces processing difficulties.
7. Easy to install
There are very few civil engineering projects supporting the LF vortex concave air flotation equipment, which can be installed on the ground, underground, or at heights, and the time required is extremely short.
8. Small footprint
The installation area of LF cavitation air flotation equipment with a processing capacity of 5-500 cubic meters per hour is only 2.5-90 square meters.
