A thermal resistance thermometer without a sheath is particularly suitable for situations where a metal probe is directly inserted into a hole (such as a machine component), or directly inserted into any application process without chemical corrosive or abrasive media.

If there is a protective sheath, a spring must be equipped at the same time, because the spring can reliably press the bottom of the probe into the bottom of the sheath, otherwise there will be continuous pressure applied to the detection end.

Usually installed directly during the process, fasteners such as threaded joints or connecting nuts can also be used.

The bendable part of the probe is a mineral insulated cable (sheathed cable). The cable contains a stainless steel casing with internal conductors embedded in an insulated high-density ceramic compound. Therefore, it is suitable for use at high temperatures.

We can choose WIKA analog or digital transmitters to connect to the box.
