Overview

If oily wastewater is discharged directly into urban drainage pipelines without treatment, it will form so-called "gutter oil", which will have an impact on drainage equipment and urban sewage treatment plants. The oil concentration of mixed sewage flowing into biological treatment structures should not exceed 30-50mg/L, otherwise it will directly affect the normal metabolism process of activated sludge and biofilm.

Our company's scientific research and technical personnel have developed a new generation of WYF series unpowered oil-water separators that are suitable for China's national conditions, based on extensive engineering practice, repeated experiments, and bold practices. This completely eliminates the need for electricity and only requires regular oil discharge, thus saving investment and reducing operating and maintenance costs.

scope of application

It can be widely used for the treatment of animal and vegetable oil containing wastewater in hotels, restaurants, canteens, food processing, etc. It is also suitable for the treatment of industrial wastewater containing mineral oil in oil fields, petrochemicals, ships, gas stations, car washes, garages, mechanical processing and manufacturing, as well as coking. It can also be used in conjunction with other water treatment devices.

Working principle

This product uses natural float separation to remove floatable oil and partially dispersed oil from oily wastewater under the action of gravity, taking advantage of the difference in oil-water density. Then, modified polymer oleophilic filter media is used to further remove tiny oil particles from the water. At the same time, tiny biofilms attached to the filter media can biodegrade the oil.

By ingeniously designing the internal structure of the unpowered oil-water separator, based on the shallow pool sedimentation theory, applying the principle of opposite flow separation and the dialectical relationship between turbulent flow and laminar flow, the flow velocity of the sewage flowing through the oil-water separator is reduced, the water flow is downward, and the oil droplets float upward. Practice has shown that this product can remove more than 90% of floatable oil with a particle size of 60um or more, and the content of animal and vegetable oil in the discharged sewage is lower than the third level standard (100mg/L) in the Comprehensive Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB8978-1996), and can even reach the second level standard (15mg/L).
