WindObserver 90 ultrasonic anemometer

WindObserver 90 is developed to measure the maximum wind speed in extreme weather environments such as typhoons and hurricanes, and has the option of heating function. Through RS422/RS485 bidirectional communication, multiple instruments can be networked together and data can be recorded as needed.

With innovative sensor design, this anemometer has a very high wind speed measurement range of 0-90 m/s and provides an output status indicating the validity of the data, so that you can be confident that the instrument is providing accurate information. Adopting a stainless steel structure with an IP66 protection level, it meets the strict performance standards set by wind turbine manufacturers, airports, oceans, oil production, and global meteorological organizations.

The following is an example of the outstanding performance of the WO90 sensor in recent independent third-party Deutsche WindGuard high-speed wind tunnel tests in Bremen, Germany. This figure shows some small changes in wind tunnel wind speed around 90m/s, and WO90 can also generate very accurate data at this wind speed. Under the new benchmark of high-speed wind, the error is not greater than ± 2m/s (about 2%).
