The data provided by this anemometer complies with the UK CAA CAP 437 standard and can be used for offshore meteorological observations. WindObserver IS is an "intrinsic safety" anemometer certified for use in "hazardous areas", while the related power and communication interfaces belong to "non hazardous areas". ATEX and IECEx certifications ensure that WindObserver IS can be deployed globally without the need for expensive local re certification fees.
