MICURA is a customized solution for this new demand. MICURA adopts Zeiss VAST XT gold scanning probe and navigator technology, which can achieve micrometer level measurement accuracy during active scanning. It is particularly suitable for measuring small workpieces with complex structures used in optical and electronic products. Despite adopting a compact design, the system has a measurement capability of 500 x 500 x 500 millimeters - performance far exceeds similar products.

Accurate high-speed scanning

The Zeiss VAST XT gold probe has high-speed scanning function, which can not only measure geometric features in a very short time, but also accurately measure and evaluate shape errors such as roundness, flatness and other characteristics. The minimum diameter of the probe is only 0.3 millimeters.

Automatic measurement of speed

Zeiss MICURA adopts VAST navigator technology. This technology can automatically adjust the ideal measurement speed while ensuring measurement accuracy, thereby significantly reducing measurement time. In areas where high measurement accuracy is required, the movement speed of Zeiss MICURA slows down. When the contour is simple or the precision requirement is low, the movement speed is faster.

The VAST navigator technology further shortens measurement time through functions such as tangent approximation scanning, spiral scanning, and rapid dynamic calibration of measuring needles.

Operation and ergonomics

The control panel of Zeiss MICURA has undergone a completely new design. Users can control and program without using a computer with the help of a monitor and two joysticks.

The system is easy to operate, and even users without extensive experience in using measuring machines can quickly get started. The platform in front of the granite countertop can isolate the control panel and tools from the measurement area.
