1. Real time face wind speed monitoring: The sensor should be selected in the correct position to truly reflect the face wind speed that protects the operator. When the wind speed is too low, too high, or the door is opened too much, corresponding alarms should be given;
2. Different air quality monitoring modules can be selected for the type of gas being operated, such as organic volatile Air-V, acid Air-A, formaldehyde Air-F (Anruis products can simultaneously select and display multiple monitoring modules), which is the most important means to determine whether the molecular filter is saturated and ensure user safety;
3. Filter differential pressure monitoring, which can reflectHEPA filterThe saturation level is an important indicator for determining whether a filter should be replaced.
4. The temperature and humidity monitoring module can monitor abnormal temperature and humidity inside the cabinet, and can promptly shut down the fan and issue an alarm.
Installation and verificationInstallation requirements:
1. Installation personnel should undergo manufacturer service training, familiarize themselves with installation processes and skills;
2. The installation of fume hoods should refer to the manufacturer's installation guidelines and choose a suitable location. Corresponding requirements have been made for the distance between windows, corridors, and air conditioning vents to reduce interference during use;
3. Before installation, it is necessary to check whether the site is suitable and determine the configuration of water and electricity,And communicate with users;
4. Pay attention to the protection or relocation of equipment and instruments on the customer's on-site countertop to avoid accidental damage;
5. According to the ventilation cabinet configuration list, check the quantity and install it;
6. Finally, clean the equipment and environment.
Verification after installation:
1. Set corresponding parameters according to the configuration of the fume hood;
2. Test the wind speed on the test surface and record it. If necessary, conduct testsOnline softwarecorrecting;
3. Concentration control detection of fume hood;
4. Leakage and efficiency detection of filters;
4. HEPA filters should undergo pressure loss testing, while 3Q filters should undergo downstream cleanliness testing;
5. Verification of surface wind speed alarm and other alarms.
During and after experimental operations
During experimental operation
1. After the fan is started and running normally, move the chemicals required for the experiment into the fume hood;
2. Ensure that the face wind speed of the fume hood is always maintained within a safe range of 0.4 m/s to 0.6 m/s during operation. Excessive face wind speed may cause turbulence in the airflow, while insufficient face wind speed may prevent effective capture of pollutants;
3. Reagents should be taken as needed, avoiding prolonged open storage to reduce volatilization and extend the lifespan of the filter;
4. The sliding door must be lowered and kept closed during operation. Keep your arms inside the cabinet during operation, avoiding frequent and rapid movement of your arms to prevent interference with airflow;
5. Chemical containers should be placed at a depth of at least 15cm inside the cabinet, away from open areas.
6. If the experimental chemicals are inconsistent with the SVS content, the manufacturer should be consulted in a timely manner.
After experimental operation:
1. While keeping the fan running, organize the experimental equipment and clean the fume hood countertop;
2. Empty the reagent bottles from the fume hood and store them in a dedicated reagent cabinet;
3. After completing the cleaning and organization, carefully check and confirm that all water, gas, and power switches inside the cabinet are turned off. Close the front door and use the built-in delayed closing function of the fume hood to ensure that any harmful gases remaining inside the cabinet are fully filtered. After confirming everything is correct, you can leave.
1. The filter should be replaced promptly according to the alarm reminder of the air quality monitoring module or SVS timer;
2. The correct model of filter should be selected according to the manufacturer's recommendation;
3. If the molecular filter is not replaced in a timely manner after saturation, the downstream air quality will no longer be safe, directly threatening the safety and health of operators. When the HEPA filter is saturated, it will cause excessive pressure loss, reduce surface wind speed, and may cause pollutant particles to fall onto the experimental table with vertical airflow, cross contaminating the sample;
4The replacement should be carried out by professionals, and the filter leakage and efficiency test should be conducted after replacement;
5. After replacement, the old filter should be handed over to a specialized hazardous waste company for disposal by the user.
