Drying machine refers to a mechanical device that uses thermal energy to reduce the moisture content of materials, used for drying operations on objects. Drying machines vaporize and release moisture (usually referring to water or other volatile liquid components) from materials through heating, in order to obtain solid materials with a specified moisture content. The selection rules are as follows:
① The original shape of the material includes particles, powders, microparticles, sludge, crystals, liquids, pastes, suspensions, solutions, continuous thin sheets, thick plates, irregular materials (small or large), viscous or blocky materials, etc.
② The average output includes the continuous operation feeding amount or finished product, intermittent operation feeding amount or finished product, and their adjustment range.
③ The average particle size, particle size distribution, particle density, bulk density, rehydration properties, etc. of the finished product particles.
④ The moisture content of materials at the inlet and outlet is on a dry and wet basis.
⑤ Material properties include chemistry, biochemistry, microbial activity, thermal sensitivity (melting point, glass transition temperature), moisture absorption isotherm (equilibrium moisture content), etc.
⑥ The influence of drying time, drying curve, and operating parameters.
⑦ Heater form contact method (direct, indirect).
⑧ Fuel options include steam, coal, electricity, oil, and gas.
⑨ Drying auxiliary equipment includes fans, dry dust collectors, wet dust collectors, feeders, discharges, finished product cooling and conveying devices, etc.
⑩ Special requirements include material composition, corrosiveness, toxicity, non hydrophilic solution, flammable and explosive limits, ignition point, color, structure, and fragrance requirements.
