What abnormal situations are prone to occur during the operation of soft capsule equipment

  Soft Capsule EquipmentIntegrating machine, electricity, and gas, it adopts a microcomputer programmable controller, touch panel operation, variable frequency speed regulation, and is equipped with an electronic automatic counting device. The machine is sensitive in action, accurate in filling dosage, novel in structure, beautiful in appearance, and easy to operate. It can automatically complete capsule positioning, separation, filling, locking and other actions, reduce labor intensity, improve production efficiency, and meet pharmaceutical hygiene requirements. Suitable for filling various domestic or imported capsules. It is currently an economical and practical equipment for filling capsule drugs in the pharmaceutical industry.
The following are common abnormal situations that may occur during the operation of soft capsule equipment:
1、 The capsule cannot be separated:
1. The capsule itself needs to be replaced due to its own reasons.
2. The vacuum is too low, as can be seen from the vacuum gauge. There are many reasons why the vacuum is too small. If the vacuum pump itself is the cause, seek repair from a mechanic or replace the vacuum pump. The trachea separated from the vacuum pump connected to the capsule has ruptured and needs to be replaced. The vacuum pump filter membrane is blocked, clean the filter membrane. Due to factors such as low water flow, replace the water flow pipeline with a larger one. Specific issues require specific analysis. I have only listed a few simple places here.
3. The gap between the module and the capsule separator is too large. Either adjust the height of the capsule separator, or there is a problem with the module or the telescopic rod inside the module. Analysis is needed to find a solution. It is easy to encounter problems here if the powder is too fine or too sticky.
4. The module is not correct. Adjust the module with the debugging lever until it automatically lands.
5. The medicine powder is too sticky and blocks the module. The module should be cleaned.
2、 The head and tail of the capsule are concave, and sometimes there is a problem with the capsule shell itself. I have encountered this many times before, and replacing the capsule shell can solve it. Another thing is to check if the height of the top pin needs to be adjusted. Sometimes increasing the force bearing area of the cyst can also solve the problem. Increasing the load-bearing area of the capsule is to customize a thicker top pin. This was said by someone from the capsule manufacturer, we had not done it before.
3、 Capsule rubbing and splitting, this is very headache inducing and often encountered. It needs to be treated carefully. The general reasons for this phenomenon are as follows:
1. Due to the capsule itself, there is a significant difference between the capsule cap and the capsule body. Need to replace the capsule shell.
2. There is too much residual powder on the module. The module needs to be cleaned.
When installing the module, if the upper and lower molds are not aligned, align the module again. Until the debugging rod can automatically position itself.
4. In fact, it is also related to the particle size of the medicine powder. During conversations with others, they also say there is a reason for this. I haven't confirmed it specifically. If there is indeed a reason for this, then this item should be included in the verification process to determine whether the particle size can cause the phenomenon of splitting. If it is confirmed that this phenomenon does occur, then consider whether to replace the sieve during the whole particle process.
5. Check if the locking point of the capsule cap and the top pin are too high.
6. To solve the phenomenon of splitting, there is a method to try, which is to shorten the distance between the upper mold and the top plate. Of course, if the distance is too short, it will not work. The principle is to lock it before the insertion and splitting occurs. This method is indeed feasible, it is the most commonly used method by me. Once, I found that no matter how I adjusted it, I couldn't solve the problem of inserting and splitting. I almost replaced the entire batch of capsules from the new factory, but after using this method, I solved the problem of insertion and splitting.
4、 There is no fixed method for the large difference in loading volume. Adjust the filling rod again. This reason is basically directly related to the medicinal powder. If it is related to pharmaceutical powder, for equipment considerations, please refuse filling directly and request the granulation position to rework.
5、 The distance between the scraper and the dosage plate should be at 0.5 millimeters, as long as it does not touch the dosage plate. Increasing or decreasing the distance can directly affect the loading capacity. Sometimes the loading capacity is too low, you can try increasing its distance. If the filling amount is too high when the filling rod is not pressurized at the shortest distance, please directly request the granulation station to rework.
6、 The blockage of bearings at the finished product export, locking, and waste bag removal areas is mainly due to the presence of drug powder. Please clean the bearings in a timely manner and apply an appropriate amount of oil. Adding butter to these areas is stronger than using machine oil. After cleaning, it should be ensured that the bearings have been dried, otherwise they will immediately be blocked again. Each time the site is cleared, the bearings should be removed for cleaning and oiled.
