Interlocking is an important security measure in modern production, used to prevent accidental start-up and protect production equipment. Interlocking includes various types such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, etc. Common ones include mechanical interlocking. Electronic interlocking is an emerging type of interlocking in recent years, which uses electrical signals to interlock and achieve the purpose of protecting equipment.
Electronic interlocking is commonly used in the following core scenarios in modern industrial production:
1. Interlocking and safety control of electrical control cabinet doors. Among them, after the cabinet door is opened, the equipment inside the control cabinet will automatically stop running, and the open path will also be cut off to protect the personal safety of employees.
2. The interlocking function between devices inside the control cabinet. When a certain device is in operation, other related devices are not allowed to start, and the activation of the interlock lock ensures the cooperative relationship between devices.
In addition, electronic interlocks are widely used in automated production lines to ensure safety and collaborative work between production equipment and operators.

The main process principles of electronic interlocking can be roughly divided into the following steps:
1. Firstly, external signals are obtained through remote sensing components or sensors, and the signals are transmitted to the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).
2. The PLC processes the received signal and returns it to the relay or contactor for conversion, then controls the on/off state of the electromagnet to achieve the purpose of controlling the equipment.
3. When there are multiple devices that need to interact with each other through interlocking, special supporting devices need to be used for collaborative cooperation.
