The swing pellet machine is widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food. It can turn wet powdered materials into pellets and also crush block shaped dry materials. The swing pellet machine sends a powder mixture with appropriate humidity into the silo. Through the reciprocating swing of the blade wheel and the swinging effect of the rotating drum, the wet powder raw material is ground into particles through a wire sieve and extruded from the sieve to form pellets. The block shaped material is crushed by impact inside the drum and forced to pass through the sieve to form particles.

The maintenance and upkeep of the swing pellet machine mainly include the following aspects:

Regular inspection: A comprehensive inspection of the swing pellet machine should be conducted once a month to check whether each component can operate normally and whether there is rust or defects. Focus on checking whether the moving parts such as worm gear, worm gear, and bearings rotate flexibly and wear out. If defects are found, they should be repaired in a timely manner to avoid forced use.

Cleaning: After the machine is used up or stopped, the rotating drum should be removed for cleaning and brushing the remaining powder in the bucket, and then placed properly to prepare for the next use. If the equipment is not frequently used or not used for a long time, a comprehensive cleaning should be carried out when it is stopped to remove any residue inside the drum.

Lubrication: The casing of the machine is equipped with an oil gauge. Before driving, all oil should be added once, and lubricating oil can be added midway according to the temperature rise and operation of each bearing. The worm gear housing must store engine oil for a long time, and the oil level should be such that the worm gear is completely immersed in the oil. If used frequently, the oil should be replaced every three months.

Storage: The equipment should be stored indoors in a dry and clean environment, avoiding use in places where acids and other corrosive gases are circulating in the atmosphere. If the machine is not in use for a long time, it must be wiped clean all over the body, and the smooth surface of the parts should be coated with anti rust oil and covered with a cloth to prevent dust and corrosion.

Other maintenance matters:

Ensure timely and unobstructed discharge from the outlet, and adjust the tightness of the sieve according to the granulation situation during the production process.

It is strictly prohibited to put items other than materials into the drum to avoid personnel and equipment safety accidents.

Check the vibration of the machine body, inspect all bolts, and promptly deal with any looseness found.

Operators and maintenance workers should use visual, tactile, and auditory means to determine whether the equipment is operating normally, and report any hidden dangers in a timely manner.

After each shift, the residue inside the pellet machine should be cleaned thoroughly to maintain the cleanliness of the entire machine.

Check the screen mesh every shift and replace it promptly if there are any cracks or burrs to prevent metal shavings from falling into the material.
