Colloidal mills are composed of stainless steel and semi stainless steel colloid mills. The basic principle of colloid mills is that fluid or semi fluid materials are subjected to strong shear, friction, and high-frequency vibration through high-speed relative linkage between fixed and moving teeth, effectively crushed, emulsified, homogenized, and warmed, thereby obtaining satisfactory finely processed products.
Maintenance and repair instructions for colloid mill:
1. When repairing the machine, never use an iron bell to strike directly during the disassembly, reassembly, and adjustment process. Use a wooden hammer or a wooden block to gently tap to avoid damaging the components.
2. For maintenance and use of the motor, please refer to the motor user manual.
3. Colloidal mill is a high-precision machine with a line speed of up to 20m/s and a small gap between the grinding discs. After maintenance, it is necessary to use a dial gauge to calibrate the coaxiality error between the housing and the spindle, which should be ≤ 0.05mm.
4. Regular maintenance should be carried out according to the condition of the processed materials during use.
5. This confidential seal is divided into static and dynamic seals. The static seal adopts an O-ring, and the dynamic seal adopts a hard mechanical combination seal. If scratches are found on the hard sealing surface, they should be immediately ground and repaired on flat glass or flat castings. The best grinding material is ≥ 200 # silicon carbide grinding paste. If the seal is damaged or severely cracked, please replace it immediately.
