The working principle and wide application of wet mixing granulator are as follows:
1、 Working principle
1. Mixed wetting stage
The powdered material is driven by a stirring blade in a conical pot to form a three-dimensional rolling motion. After the adhesive (such as water or solvent) is injected, the adhesive force between the powder particles is generated through the liquid bridge effect, gradually forming a loose soft material.
2. Cutting and granulation stage
The side mounted high-speed pellet cutter (with a speed of 1500-3000rpm) cuts soft materials into small and uniform wet particles in a semi flowing state, without forced extrusion molding.
3. Integrated process
Dry mixing, wet mixing, and granulation are continuously completed in a closed container without the need to transfer materials, shortening the process cycle.
2、 Widely applicable fields
1. Pharmaceutical industry
Preparation of granular raw materials for tablets and capsules to improve drug flowability and compressibility, especially suitable for viscous materials such as traditional Chinese medicine extract powder.
2. Food industry
Produce seasonings, protein powder, instant beverage granules, improve solubility and flowability, and reduce clumping rate.
3. Chemical industry field
Preparation of fertilizers, catalysts, pigments and other particles, with corrosion-resistant design capable of handling materials with pH 2-12.
