1、 Preparation before operation
1. Equipment inspection
Confirm that the power circuit is normal, the voltage is stable, and all components of the equipment (pressure roller, screw, screen) are intact and securely installed; Check the operation status of the hydraulic/cooling system and clean the dust on the surface of the equipment.
2. Material preparation
Ensure that the raw materials are dry and free of impurities, select appropriate excipients according to experimental requirements, and pre process them to the appropriate particle size and humidity.
3. Parameter preset
Based on the characteristics of the material, preset parameters such as roller pressure, feeding speed, roller speed, and mesh size.
2、 Running operation process
1. Device startup
Connect the power supply → start the oil pump → set the hydraulic pressure → reset the speed control knob to zero → start the feeding, pressing, and crushing motors in sequence.
2. Feed control
The material is evenly fed into the feeding port, gradually degassed and transported to the pressure roller area through vertical/horizontal screws, and the feeding speed is controlled to prevent blockage.
3. Granulation monitoring
Compression molding: The material is formed into a dense thin sheet under high pressure from the pressure roller, and the thickness of the sheet is ensured to be uniform by adjusting the roller distance and pressure in real time.
Crushing and granulation: The thin sheet is cut by a crushing knife and then sieved to form the target particle size. The particle density and flowability are observed.
4. Exception handling
When loose or hard particles appear, immediately adjust the feeding speed and roller pressure in conjunction; If the hydraulic pressure exceeds the limit and triggers the protection shutdown, it is necessary to check the parameter matching.
3、 Operation End Specification
1. Sequential shutdown
Stop feeding first → turn off the tablet pressing and crushing motor → release hydraulic pressure → cut off the main power supply → turn off the cooling water.
2. Cleaning and maintenance
Thoroughly remove residual materials inside and outside the equipment, clean and disinfect detachable components such as screws, rollers, and screens, and lubricate moving parts.
4、 Key safety issues
1. Wear protective goggles and gloves throughout the operation, and do not touch moving parts or insert hands into the equipment during operation.
2. Before cleaning, it is necessary to confirm that the equipment has completely stopped and the internal pressure has been reset to zero to avoid live operation.
3. When using a new sieve, it is necessary to gradually adjust the feeding amount to prevent blockage of the mold holes.
Note: Intelligent devices can automatically optimize the feeding speed and improve granulation stability by monitoring the gap between the pressure rollers in real time.
