The operation steps of the pulse airflow dryer can be divided into three stages: start-up preparation, operation control, and orderly shutdown. The specific process is as follows:
1、 Preparation stage for startup
1. Equipment inspection
Manually rotate the air damper to confirm flexible rotation, sufficient lubrication of the fan bearings, and check the sealing of the steam valve.
Clean the residual materials in the drying pipeline and cyclone separator to prevent blockage.
2. System preheating
Open the steam valve, start the induced draft fan to circulate hot air, and preheat the pipeline for more than 5 minutes.
Wait for the inlet air temperature to stabilize and reach ≥ 130 ℃ (the applicable temperature for materials is usually 120-150 ℃).
2、 Operation control phase
1. Feeding start
Start the fan motor, activate the feeder, and feed at a low speed of 50% -70% of the rated speed.
Slowly increase the feed rate through the speed control knob and synchronously monitor the outlet temperature (target 60-70 ℃).
2. Dynamic adjustment
Rising exhaust temperature: Accelerate the feeding or reduce the temperature of the hot air to avoid over drying of the material.
Reduce the outlet air temperature: reduce the feed or increase the hot air temperature to ensure that the moisture meets the standard (conventional ≤ 5%).
Maintain stable steam pressure (2-8 kg/cm ²) and regularly initiate bag blowback to prevent blockage.
3、 Shutdown and maintenance phase
1. Orderly shutdown
Stop feeding first and keep the equipment idling for 5-10 minutes to blow away residual materials.
Closing sequence: Cut off steam → Stop blower → Stop induced draft fan → Close dust removal system.
2. Maintenance requirements
Clean up the accumulated material in the cyclone separator and check for any damage to the cloth bag.
Check the feeder for wear every week and calibrate the temperature sensor regularly (if the error is greater than ± 5%, it needs to be replaced).
4、 Key safety regulations
1. Anti blocking operation: When the air damper is blocked, immediately stop the machine to clear the materials. It is strictly prohibited to start or stop the equipment with materials.
2. Explosion proof measures: When handling flammable materials, the oxygen concentration in the system should be less than 8%, and an explosion-proof motor should be equipped.
3. Exception handling: The pressure fluctuation needs to be checked for air leakage points, and the dust collector needs to replace the filter bag due to powder leakage.
Note: Before the first drying of new materials, it is necessary to optimize parameters (temperature, wind speed, etc.) through small-scale testing to avoid equipment overload or unqualified finished products.
