The methods for controlling the drying temperature of a belt dryer mainly involve power regulation of heating equipment, utilization of heat exchangers, and control of circulating fans. The following is a detailed explanation of these control methods:
1、 Power regulation of heating equipment
Normally, the temperature of the belt dryer can be adjusted by controlling the power of the heating equipment. Heating equipment can be electric heating, coal-fired hot air heating, steam heating, or gas heating, etc. When it is necessary to increase the drying temperature, increase the power of the heating equipment; When it is necessary to lower the drying temperature, reduce the heating power. This adjustment method is flexible and easy to control, ensuring that the drying temperature fluctuates within the set range.
2、 Heat exchanger utilization
The heat exchanger in the belt dryer plays a role in heating and transferring heat. By adjusting the working state of the heat exchanger, precise control of the drying temperature can be achieved. For example, in the initial drying stage, due to the high moisture content and poor air permeability of the material, a higher drying temperature is required. At this time, the heating power of the heat exchanger can be increased to raise the temperature of the drying gas. In the subsequent stage, as the moisture content of the material decreases, the heating power of the heat exchanger can be appropriately reduced to avoid excessive drying of the material.
3、 Circulating fan control
The circulating fan plays a role in circulating hot air into the drying unit in the belt dryer. By adjusting the speed or number of openings of the circulating fan, the flow rate and velocity of the hot air can be changed, thereby achieving the regulation of the drying temperature. For example, when it is necessary to increase the drying temperature, the speed of the circulating fan can be increased or more fans can be turned on to increase the flow rate and velocity of the hot air and improve the drying efficiency. On the contrary, when it is necessary to lower the drying temperature, the speed of the circulating fan can be reduced or some fans can be turned off.
4、 Temperature monitoring and feedback
To ensure precise control of drying temperature, belt dryers are usually equipped with temperature monitoring devices. These devices can monitor the temperature inside the drying unit in real time and provide feedback to the control system. The control system automatically adjusts the power of the heating equipment, the working status of the heat exchanger, and the speed of the circulating fan based on feedback data to ensure that the drying temperature fluctuates within the set range.
5、 Precautions
When adjusting the drying temperature, attention should be paid to avoiding material deterioration or damage due to high temperature. Therefore, when setting the temperature, a reasonable selection should be made based on the properties of the material and the drying requirements.
The adjustment of drying temperature should be coordinated with parameters such as the thickness of the material and the running speed of the mesh belt to ensure the stability and efficiency of the drying process.
Regularly maintain and upkeep the belt dryer to ensure the normal and efficient operation of heating equipment, heat exchangers, and circulating fans.
